Entry, Exit, Stop Loss & Take Profit

- Stop Loss
- Take Profit

🎯 What Will You Learn?
In this lesson, you will learn how to plan your entry and exit points, understand Stop Loss and Take Profit, and why having a trade plan before entering the market is important.
🔵 What Is an Entry Point?
An Entry Point is the price level where a trader decides to open a position after analyzing the market and preparing a trading plan.
Choosing an entry point does not mean the price will move in the expected direction, so potential risk should be considered before entering a trade.
🔴 What Is a Stop Loss?
A Stop Loss is a level set to exit a trade if the price moves against the trading plan, helping to limit the potential loss.
A Stop Loss cannot prevent every loss, and the actual execution price may differ in fast-moving markets or when liquidity is low.
🟢 What Is Take Profit?
Take Profit is a level set to close a trade when the price reaches a planned profit target.
Having a profit target can make the exit plan clearer and reduce the need to make decisions based only on emotions while the market is moving.

⚖️ What Is the Risk-to-Reward Ratio?
The Risk-to-Reward ratio compares the amount you could potentially lose on a trade with the amount of profit you are targeting.
For example, if the potential loss is $10 and the target profit is $20, the Risk-to-Reward ratio is 1:2.
🛡️ Why Plan Before Entering a Trade?
Planning your entry point and Stop Loss and Take Profit levels before a trade helps you understand your potential risk and target in advance and can reduce emotional decision-making.
However, there are no guaranteed price levels in the market, and conditions can change quickly. Risk management therefore remains an important part of trading.
🧠 Remember
- An Entry Point is the planned level for opening a trade.
- A Stop Loss helps limit potential losses.
- Take Profit sets a planned profit target.
- Risk-to-Reward compares potential risk with potential reward.
- No trade or price level is guaranteed.
